Clean Living Series: Part 3 of 5

Clean Living: The Easiest Upgrade You’re Ignoring (Water)

New here? Start with Part 1: Clean Living: Where to Start Without Overhauling Your Life

Water feels like the simplest part of your health routine… which is exactly why most people don’t think twice about it.

But here’s the thing—what’s in your water matters just as much as how much you’re drinking.

Depending on where you live, tap water can contain things like chlorine, heavy metals, and other contaminants.

Not exactly the goal.

The good news? This is one of the easiest upgrades you can make.

A quality water filter—nothing extreme, nothing complicated—can significantly reduce a lot of those unwanted extras.

Even a basic filter is a step in the right direction.

This was one of those small changes for me that didn’t feel like a big deal at the time—but it was part of a bigger picture of reducing what my body had to deal with daily. And that’s really what clean living is about.

Another thing people overlook is how hydration actually feels. If you’re constantly tired, dealing with headaches, or just feel a little “off,” dehydration or poor water quality could be part of the picture.

Also, quick reality check—coffee doesn’t count as hydration.

A simple habit to try right away: start your day with a full glass of water before anything else.

No overhaul required.

And if you want help building simple habits that actually stick, reach out to me for a health coaching session.

Because sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference.
